At the heart of Blue Cherry Productions, lies a passion to help uplift the lives
of orphaned and terminally ill children in Africa. We believe that the true meaning
of life, does not lie in its duration, but its donation.
We are actively involved in raising funds and support for the “Baby Moses Baby Sanctuary”
and aim to help improve the lives of these children in every way possible.
Blue Cherry holds regular events where food, gifts and support is raised for
Baby Moses.
A PLACE OF SAFETY
We love to celebrate birthdays
Baby Moses opened its doors in April 2003 as a home and place of safety to abused,
abandoned and HIV positive orphaned babies. In 2005 they broadened their vision
to include toddlers and teenagers who had been orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS,
working to give them a stable home and hope for the future.
Currently Baby Moses Sanctuary cares for 49 children (aged from 3 months to 17 yrs)
in various homes. They are assisted by a number of care-givers who receive regular
training in the form of courses and workshops.
Our Caregivers
Children are placed in the care of Baby Moses through an order of the children’s
court through organisations like the Dutch Reformed Social Services, Child and Family
Welfare Services or the Child Protection Unit.
These babies and children are removed from situations where they are in severe danger.
